SMART repair stands for ‘Small, Medium Area Repair Technology’. It’s the process of repairing a small area of your vehicle to make it look as good as new again, without replacing a whole panel. The SMART Repair service is made to make your life easier and to cut cost.
Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) is an innovative technique used to remove dents from vehicle panels without the need for traditional bodywork or repainting. Highly skilled technicians utilize specialized tools to massage the dent out from the underside of the panel, gradually restoring the metal to its original shape. This process preserves the factory finish of the vehicle, as there is no need for fillers or paint. PDR is particularly effective for small to medium-sized dents where the paint has not been damaged, offering a quicker, more cost-effective, and environmentally friendly alternative to conventional dent repair methods.
Until we have the images of your dent we could not say as to whether you would need a PDR or a more traditional dent repair. Simply fill in the quote form on our website and a member of our team will happily advise you.
Smart repair employs specialised techniques to fix minor damages on a vehicle’s exterior efficiently. Technicians assess the damage, prepare the area, and apply targeted repair methods such as painting, polishing, or dent removal. These repairs are conducted swiftly, often on-site, ensuring a seamless finish and restoring the vehicle’s appearance effectively.
After a smart repair, customers should avoid washing the repaired area for at least 48 hours to allow the paint to fully cure. Additionally, it’s advisable to avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners for the first few weeks to preserve the repaired finish and ensure long-lasting results.
